While technically recyclable, many materials are not economically feasible to recycle, resulting in significant environmental pollution and depletion of natural resources.Our mission at Green Global Solutions is simple: Rethink, Recycle, Reuse. We work with businesses, government entities, and individuals worldwide to find alternative solutions to landfill disposal and incineration of waste.
The local recyclability of materials often depends on the financial viability of recycling them; if the costs of collection and processing exceed the value of the resulting raw materials, local recycling may not be possible. However, the majority of waste is actually technically recyclable.
At the heart of our operations lies our Innovation and Recycling Operations division, comprising in-house experts in science and material applications. This dedicated team operates seamlessly across our multiple office locations and partners closely with top Canadian universities.
Once sorted by category, the different material types are cleaned and then sent to third-party partners to process the materials into usable forms. For example, metals and aluminum are shredded and smelted into metal sheeting, ingots, or bar stock.
Shipments of waste are sent to one of our local Green Global Solutions Material Recovery Facilities (MRFs), which are located in the same country in which the waste originates. Green Global Solutions currently operates in more than 6 countries and has over 20 MRFs worldwide.
